
Woman Murdered, Body Parts Removed
A woman in her mid-twenties was discovered dead at Nkramofukrom near Abura Dunkwa in the Central Region’s Abura Asebu Kwamankese District.
The dead is thought to be a student, according to sources.
On Sunday, June 19, 2022, she was discovered in a pool of blood in a nearby thicket, with various body parts missing, including her skull and clitoris.
Residents in the region have voiced their disbelief at the incident, as well as dread and panic.
Because of the way her underwear and pants were taken, she was suspected of being raped before she was murdered. Residents are likewise unable to identify the deceased, hence she is unknown in the community.

While an inquiry is underway, the body has been transported to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
