Whoever NPP Brings They Will Lose The Next Elections- Felix Ofosu Kwakye Predicts
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, a former Deputy Information Minister in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has predicted that the New Patriotic Party(NPP) will lose the next elections even if they bring new leaders.
He said that the NDC will win the presidential election in 2024 no matter what.
According to him, whoever represents the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as the flagbearer will lose due to the country’s economic devastation.
“The fact is that the NPP will participate in a raise to a button, and it will be an ill-fated decision. Whoever they bring is going to lose,” he declared on an Accra Based Television station.
Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Minister of Trade Alan John Kyerematen are said to be the front-runners for the NPP’s flagbearer position.
Mr. Ofosu Kwakye, on the other hand, believes neither is qualified for the job because of their shambolic economic management.
In the 2024 general election, he believes Dr. Bawumia will be a dreadful and bad flagbearer for the NPP.
He claims that as Head of the Economic Management Team, he oversaw the Fourth Republic’s worst economic scenario.
“This will make him completely untenable as a candidate for the NPP. The man does not even have the courage to step up there to defend his economic record and people are saying he is the viable candidate. I am not sure why people are even motivating him,” he said.
