Wearing Of Facemasks Is No Longer Mandatory – Akufo-Addo
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo declared in his 28th COVID update on Sunday, March 27 that facemasks will no longer be required starting tomorrow, Monday, March 28.
“However, I urge all of you to continue to practice improved hand hygiene and avoid overcrowded meetings,” he stated.
All in-person activities, such as those held in churches, mosques, conferences, workshops, private parties and events, cinemas and theatres, may resume at full capacity if the audience and/or participants are fully vaccinated, according to him.
At these locations, hand washing and hand sanitizing stations should be present.
Outdoor events such as sporting events, entertainment venues, political rallies, and funerals may resume at full capacity if all attendees are completely vaccinated.
