Unemployment Pushed Me to Social Media-Kwadwo Sheldon
Ghanaian social media Content Creator, Bernard Amoako, known in Showbiz as Kwadwo Sheldon, has revealed the condition leading to him becoming a content creator.
According to the sensational brand influencer, he became a content creator because of the high unemployment rate in the country.
Sheldon noted that the fear of being unemployed after school compelled him to become a content creator.
“I don’t know what happened to me probably some spirit entered me. The spirit of unemployment entered me so I just decided to be this kind of outspoken. Oh yes, I’m just basically saying that after school, I didn’t know what to do with my life because you know the situation that we are in so I just have to create a path for myself. I didn’t want to be another unemployment statistic in the system. Like oh, I’m waiting for the government to come and give me a job so that I get something to do. Oh naa, I just wanted to do it myself. So that is the angle that I am coming from,” he revealed in an interview on GTV Breakfast Show
recounting his journey, Sheldon added that he decided to become a content creator because he did not want to go back to the village after school.
“Because I knew where I was coming from and there was no way I was going but to the house or going back to stay with my grandma in the village or I just wanted to create something for myself because if I don’t, there is nothing for me so I did,” he stated.
“It didn’t use to be like this I was a very shy person. But it has not been like this. It started at OMG that is where these things started,” he noted.
