Two SHS Teachers Die In Accident
Two senior staff members at the Zabzugu Senior High School (SHS) unexpectedly passed away in the Buipe area of the Savannah Region, leaving students and instructors in a state of sadness.
They were traveling back from a workshop when their car was involved in a collision in the Eastern Region’s Koforidua.
Although the cause of the crash is not yet known, another staff member who was injured in it is alive and responding to treatment.
The loss of the teachers would have a significant impact on the school, according to one of the assistant heads of the school who talked to the media.
“The mood is total now for both teacher and non-teaching staff and students,” he said.
“One of the deceased, aside from having teaching duties, was the counselor of the school, “who had a very crucial role with both students and teachers.”
The other deceased was the senior housemaster of the school.
“So you can imagine those two strong men just going like that,” the assistant headteacher said.
