Textiles Ghana MD Uses Police To Dismiss Workers

Fatoumata Doro, the Managing Director of Textiles Ghana Limited, appears to be on a sacking spree among the company’s employees.

After a meeting with the National Labour Commission (NLC), the workers and management were told that the manager should return to work.

Last month, workers staged a protest against the company’s MD, demanding that she be fired for mismanagement.

However, when the Manager returned to work today, he was accompanied by police who modified the company’s internal security.

“What is happening today is that the MD has returned with police officers, she has also changed the company’s security, and there is a list of names of workers before anyone is permitted to enter the gate.”
