
Taxi Driver Who Returned Fish Monger’s GH¢8400 Receives Over GH¢50,000 Donations
A taxi driver who broke the internet by returning GH¢8400 to a passenger after she forgot her money in his taxi has received over GH¢50,000 from various donors.
The Vice President Dr Bawumia, who upon seeing a viral video of the mans honesty donated GH¢20,000 through Mannesseh Azuri to reward Mr. Ackon for his show of integrity.
Manasseh presented an additional GH¢2,500 from two other unnamed donors, making the total of GH¢22,500.
An Accra-Based Radio station decided to interview this driver on why he returned such a huge amount of money and also raised about GH¢15,000 for his honesty.
Afropop musician KiDi also gifted the taxi driver GH¢5,000 after returning the fishmonger’s ¢8,400 after it was left in his car.
Chief Executive Officer of Salt FM and philanthropist, Charles Ohene Frimpong, also donated GH¢7,800, two boxes of hand sanitizers and Brofot Puff Puff to the taxi driver.
