Dr. Gabriel Ganyaglo, an obstetrician with Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, is advising young women to go in for surgery to tighten their vagina.

Speaking to UTV, on International Day to End Obstetric Fistula, he stated that vaginoplasty was a safer method for women who wanted to tighten their vagina, he warned that for their own safety they should stop inserting foreign items in their vagina but rather go to a specialist.

He also stated that the height of a woman determines the size and length of her vagina and as such, no one should be worried about the size of their outer labia.
