Suame: Man found dead hanging in an uncompleted building
A lifeless body of a man believed to be in his 30s has been found hanging in an uncompleted building at New Kyekyere in the Suame Municipality of the Ashanti region.
The body of the unidentified man was found hanging with a sponge tied against an iron rod with a traveling bag beside him.
The cause of his death remains unknown but a response from the Assembly Member for the area, Michael Adu Poku suggests the man was killed by assassins.
According to Mr. Michael Adu Poku, the traveling bag found beside him explains his assertion.
A Ghana card found in his bag, the Assembly Member said, bears the name Benjamin Kwadwo Asenso.
The body has been conveyed by the police at Afrancho and deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue for preservation and identification.
The police have commenced investigations into the incident.
