State Of The Nation Address To Be Delivered On March 30
President Akufo Addo will make the State of the Nation Address to Parliament on Wednesday next week, March 30.
According to Habib Iddrisu, the Deputy Majority Whip, this is the case.
Last three weeks, the President was supposed to come before the House, but that constitutional responsibility was postponed indefinitely, causing the Minority to call it a breach.
The White House was now completely prepared to give the State of the Union message next week Wednesday, with no further postponements expected.
“I’m the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on the State of the Nation Address, and the President will deliver his message on the state of the nation on the 30th, which is next week Wednesday. I had a meeting with all of the stakeholders in place yesterday to assess how prepared and ready they are,” he said.
“I met with the state protocol, the Ghana Armed Forces, the Ghana Police Service, the National Fire Service, the National Ambulance Service, National Security, ECG, the Information Service Department, and all of the key players who are supposed to play any role in the State of the Nation Address yesterday.”
“We had a meeting yesterday, and it went pretty well…
He remarked, “We understand and know that the President will come and deliver the State of the Nation message.”
