SP Announces Commencement Of Full Investigations Into Alleged Corruption At Police Depot
The Special Prosecutor has declared that thorough investigations into alleged corruption and corruption-related offenses in the Ghana Police Service’s recent recruiting at the Ghana Police Academy have begun.
The investigations are focused on specific cases of “alleged corruption and corruption-related offences of the use of office for profit, abuse of office, abuse of power, favoritism, nepotism, victimization, and the selection of unqualified persons,” according to a statement signed by Kissi Agyebeng on Thursday, March 17.
The Ghana Police Academy’s recruitment exercise for Course 51 of Cadet Officers Training is in the spotlight.
