Six school children were killed by a Toyota Corolla with the registration number GR 2392-22 on the Kete-Krachi highway in Matamallan Ankase.

Following the deadly occurrence on Wednesday afternoon, another person is thought to be in critical condition.

According to reports, the children were on their way home from school when they died.

According to Joseph Anane, an eyewitness, the driver fled the site after the incident and has yet to be discovered.

Residents are demanding that speed ramps be built to ensure their safety.

They claimed that the speed ramps will reduce vehicle speeds and accidents in the area.
