Shatta Wale Angry About Being Compared To Black Sherif
Shatta Wale, a reggae/dancehall artist, is upset because some music fans are comparing him to rapper Black Sherif.
According to Shatta, these comparisons diminish the impact that artists have had over time.
Shatta Wale claimed in a live broadcast on social media that two artists have the right to exist without being pitted against each other.
He explained that people have the freedom to like whichever musician they choose and to listen to whichever music genre they want.
Comparisons, Shatta Wale argued, are unappealing, especially between himself and Black Sherif, who has just been on the scene for a year.
“However, many of these people who try to use other artists work to put him down barely support them after the controversies,” he added.
He remarked that Black Sherif should be allowed to pursue his career and make his legacy without the distractions of some of these statements.
