Russia-Ukraine Attack: Several Stranded Ghanaian Students In Ukraine Hiding To Pray
As Russia’s attack enters its second day, some Ghanaian students in Ukraine are living in fear for their lives.
On Thursday, February 24, 2022, Russia launched a military assault on Ukraine.
The BBC reported on Friday that the fighting was still going on near Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.
The Ghanaian students have been urged to seek shelter because the situation is unpredictable and evacuation is impossible due to Ukraine’s airspace being disabled.
A group of Ghanaian students have been sighted sheltering in an underground bunker in one of the most recent footage from Ukraine.
The video, which was shared on Instagram, shows a group of roughly 20 people dressed up and carrying their bags behind them.
There was gloom all around the people as one of them led the gathering in prayer.
