Robbers Shoot Mobile Money Vendor

Akwesi Baah, a 27-year-old mobile money vendor from Assin Nyankomase in the Central Region, has been hospitalized after being ambushed and shot by armed robbers.

According to the evidence gathered, he was attacked on his way home from work on Monday, February 14, around 8:30 p.m.

When the mask-wearing thief attempted to steal the victim’s bag containing cash, the victim allegedly fought back.

After shooting the victim in the head, the robber fled with an undisclosed sum of money.

The sufferer was taken to the hospital and is currently being treated.

The case has since been reported to the police.
