Prince Charles to Address The Nation Today
The Crowned King of Britain and the former ruler of Whales H.R.M Prince Charles is expected to address the nation at 6 pm following his mother’s demise.
Queen H.R.M Elizabeth II die on Thursday, September 8, afternoon in his family house at Balmoral.
At the time of her death, the late Monarch who has reigned for 70 years was surrounded by her family.
Public Service is also expected to commence at 6 pm today September 9, at St. Paul’s Cathedral London. The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Liz Truss.
MPs will pay tribute to the Queen in a day-long House of Commons sitting, beginning at noon as church bells will ring out across the country.
An hour later, several gun salutes will be fired across London- one round for every year of the Queen’s life.
Meanwhile, new dedicated floral tribute sites will be established in parks across the country as Royal residences close until after the Queen’s funeral.
Prince Charles in a press statement said has described the Queen’s death as ” a moment of greatest sadness for me and all my family”
The King has currently left Balmoral to begin with the Queen’s consort back in London.
