
Police Chief Inspector And Wife Die In Gory Accident
Chief Inspector James Tey, the Station Officer at Osiem Police Station in the Eastern Region, and his wife died in a horrifying accident in Akuse in the Eastern Region.
The accident occurred near Akuse’s Government Hospital, where the accident vehicle was discovered in a cannel.
According to police investigators who attended the area, they discovered a Nissan salon automobile with registration plate number GR 7365-10 in a nearby channel full of water when they arrived at the Marigo intersection near the Akuse government hospital.
The accident car was promptly dragged out of the cannel with the help of the Volta River Authority (VRA) Fire Service, and the lifeless remains of two occupants were discovered.
A personal diary and a handcuff were discovered in the vehicle, and additional investigation revealed that the male deceased was Chief Inspector James Tey, while the female deceased was his wife.
Both bodies have been deposited in the Akuse government mortuary.
