Police beg up security for Ghana/Nigeria World Cup qualifier
The Ghana Police Service has just announced rigorous Security Measures for the World Cup Qualifiers Between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday, March 25, 2022.
A statement released by the Police Administration described the measures as stringent to ensure peace and protection of both fans and the football family.
Police urged the public to support them an incident free Wold Cup qualifier as they will deal with all persons strictly according to the law in ensure protection and safety of everyone.
Black Stars is meeting Nigeria as two of the 10 nations playing the qualifiers from the continent. The rivalry between the two nations has caused tension and excitement especially for fans in tue Ashanti regional capital of Kumasi where tue match is sold out.
The two teams will be facing each other on the pitch this Friday as the first of two matches between them after which the return match will be played in Nigeria.
