Police Arrests 3 Men Who Fired Residents
Three men in military uniform who fired gunshots at the Zambarama line in Ablekuma Central over a land dispute are in the custody of the Dansoman police.
The three were arrested after they attacked a construction site on Saturday, in an attempt to pull down structures on litigated land.
As a youth group tasked to oversee the construction, four persons were shot as they closed with the armed men in military uniforms.
One of the injured men speaking to an Accra-based FM said, ” They started shooting at us when we got word of them.
The one who fired the bullets shot a friend’s leg and later gave two warning shots.
He shot at me, I was wounded on my arm and face.
“When I was first to hit, I experienced the impact on my face even though blood was oozing on my arm”, he added.
