The former President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, looks different without her signature headscarf and glasses as she marks 83 years and promises not to slow down because there is so much to do.

Posting on her birthday the former leader says there was so much work needed to be done on gender equality adding that she is committed to using her remaining zeal to do that.

Many social media admirers applauded her for her critical contribution to stabilising her country and wished her more healthy years.
