The Parliament of Ghana under the 8th parliament set aside Tuesday, May 24, 2022, to resume from break.

According to a communication by the Clerk, proceedings will start at 10 am while the will be a second meeting of the second session of the 8th Parliament.

The meeting will be continued up to early August before Parliament will be dissolved again and the second meeting is the time for the consideration of government programs and bills.

The Minister of Finance is also expected to appear before the house to deliver his Mid-year budget review in July.

Before the House went on break, some of the Minority Members of Parliament expressed their concern over the continuous failure of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, to honor invitations of the House to answer questions asked by legislators.

The Members of Parliament (MP) are not happy about the Minister’s conduct and failure to attend to the house to answer questions.
