Over 100 persons feared dead in gas explosion at Bogoso

Following a terrifying explosion in Bogoso, in the Western area, several individuals are believed to be dead.

According to information gathered, there was an explosion at Apiate between Bogoso and Bawdie this afternoon.

A vehicle transporting mining explosives from Tarkwa to Chirano mines collided with a motorcycle, resulting in an explosion, according to reports.

According to reports, firefighters rushed to the location to assist in bringing the situation under control.

While the origin of the explosion is unknown, a source has stated that the explosion resulted in the loss of life as well as the destruction of property.
