One Dead, 2 In Critical Condition In Terrible Accident On Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway
A driver of a cement trailer has been confirmed dead on the spot with his mate and another in critical condition after a terrible accident at Gomoa Assin on the Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway in the Central Region.
The injured persons were rushed to Apam Catholic Hospital and received medical treatment.
A report indicates that the trailer with the registration number GM 3587- 21 was transporting cement from Cape Coast towards Accra.
Some parts of the road are packed with a broken trucks loaded with scraps parked in the middle of the highway.
The Apam District Fire Service Commander, D01 Adolf Ankomah Nuamah, confirmed the incident to the Accra-based media hose.
Mr. Nuamah has sent a caution to drivers to put warning signs at the back of their faulty cars to alert incoming drivers to reduce road accidents.
Moreover, the management of the Apam Hospital said they are doing their possible best to save the lives of the other two persons involved.
