
Nurse Delivers Woman’s Baby In Bush
A Staff Nurse and a community health nurse at Agyata in the Afram Plains South District has delivered a mother in labour in the bush.
But for her timely intervention the mother and may may have died due to complications.
The woman is reported to have gone in labour early this morning after which a Fulani headman reported to the nurses that one of their women , Salamatu Ampadu is in labour in the Bush.
The Staff Nurse , Amos Acheampong together with the Community Health Nurse Ruby Amenuveve accompanied the man to the scene.
On arrival, membranes have ruptured with head of the baby emerging in vagina.

The Mother was assisted and in about 12 minutes she delivered a bouncy baby boy.
Following some temporal 3 stage management, she was taking on a motorbike for full maternal care at the Agyata CHPS Zone.
Mother and baby currently doing well and under close observation at the clinic.
