Luri Tia John-Bosco, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Upper West Regional Youth Organiser, is in stable condition after being involved in a collision on the Accra-Kumasi Highway on Tuesday morning.

According to sources who visited the 37 Military Hospital where he is presently being treated, he is recovering despite suffering injuries as a result of the tragedy.

His Toyota Corolla, on the other hand, is beyond repair and has been hauled from the scene of the accident, with police indicating that they are looking into the incident.

On his journey to Wa from Accra on Tuesday morning, the Upper West Regional Secretary contender was involved in an accident.

On the stretch around the Nkawkaw-Kumasi highway, his vehicle allegedly collided with a stationary freight truck.

Other motorists hurried him to the Holy Family Hospital in Nkawkaw, but he was then referred to the 37 Military Hospital, where he is currently being treated.
