The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is ready for the battle as their delegates’ conference takes off Saturday, May 28th,2022, in the Ashanti region chairmanship race for the election of regional executives ahead of the 2024 poll while observers predict two elephants.

Is it going to be the incumbent businessman Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi or Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, aka COKA?

Meanwhile, other aspirants also have the chance of winning the election but their main focus is high on the other two if the elections are not undermined.

Postponement of the election to Saturday gives all the aspirants another twenty-four more hours to finish up their campaigns successfully.
Also, the party has changed the election venue from the Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
