
NDC Executive Dies In A Deadly Accident Three Days After His Wedding
Mr. Siiba Issah Dinie, the Deputy Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Kintampo South constituency in the Bono East Region, died three days after his wedding in a fatal accident.
He was reportedly involved in a horrific accident on the Kintampo-Techiman route on Sunday, May 8, 2022.
His untimely death, according to sources, occurred after he married three people last Thursday.
On Monday, May 9th, 2022, the constituency’s communications officer, Mr. Mathew Atanga, verified the sad news to GBC Abdul Rahman Shaibu on Radio-Kintampo, which was monitored by Vimnewsghana.com.
“He got married just last week and chose yesterday to go and meet his bride to some of his relatives in Techiman,” Mr. Atanga added, explaining how the incident occurred. Between Tanoboase and Manso, on their way back from Techiman after the visit, one of his car tyres broke off while the vehicle was in motion, causing him to lose control. Mr. Siiba died instantaneously as the car somersaulted. He was riding shotgun with his newlywed bride. The wife survived but was brought to the hospital, where she lapsed into a coma but is currently responding to treatment, according to physicians.”
Mr. Siiba was an IT expert as well as a teacher.
According to our sources, he was the facilitator of the Lordina ICT facility in Amoma, Bono East Region’s Tintampo South District.
He was also the Party’s director of IT in the constituency, in addition to his duties as a Deputy Constituency Secretary.
His funeral rites, which follow Islamic tradition, will take place today at his family’s home in Techiman.
