A mother of 7 in her 50s is said to have committed herself by hanging in the Adansi South area of the Ashanti Region’s Nsata Kwasi Ansah village near Nsata Subriso Kitiwa.
Mary Gyan, according to reports, has been ill for several months.
The deceased’s husband, Joseph Aidoo, informed a journalist named Akuapim Brother that his wife was mentally ill and that all attempts to heal her had failed.
According to preliminary inquiries, the woman visited their farm for three days but did not come home.
The neighborhood members searched her farm and discovered her hanging from a tree.
Mary Gyan was a mother of seven children.
The body was transported by the New Edubiase police to a neighboring hospital for preservation, according to an eyewitness named Akuapem Brother.
Currently, authorities have launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.
