Teachers and children at Yamfo Methodist A Primary School were shocked to learn that a 28-year-old woman used a heated iron to seriously burn her seven-year-old son’s thumb, Joshua Osei.

Aside from that, she allegedly used a blade to mark his thumbs.

According to accounts, the youngster has a propensity for licking his thumb, so his mother used a heated iron to burn his fingers to prevent him from doing so.

It’s unknown if the school administration has filed a formal report with the police.
