Monkeypox Cases Now 30 In Ghana
Ghana now has 30 cases of monkeypox, with the majority of illnesses occurring in the Greater Accra Region.
However, no fatalities have been reported, according to Dr. Franklin Asiedu-Bekoe, director of public health.
Monkeypox is transmitted to humans through close contact with an infected person or animal, or with material contaminated with the virus.
Monkeypox virus is transmitted from one person to another by close contact with lesions, body fluids, respiratory droplets and contaminated materials such as bedding.
