Menzgold Demonstration: Aggrieved Customers Hit The Streets To Demand 4 Years Of Locked Up Monies
Customers of the now-defunct gold shop Menzgold are today protesting by marching to the Jubilee House and calling for action on their investments that have been locked up.
According to the Coalition of Aggrieved Menzgold Customers, it has been exactly 4 years after the company was shut down and there has been no progress in determining when customers would receive their money.
They claim that all efforts to get their money back have been ineffective.
The group intends to hand President Akufo-Addo a formal petition at Jubilee House asking for his assistance.
“It is exactly four years since Menzgold was collapsed and for four years, we have done whatever we could but it appears there are no results. So this time around, we want to petition the president for a presidential intervention,” a spokesperson of the aggrieved customers noted.
