A mass burial has been held for the 13 children who drowned at the Apam beach on March 7th.

On Sunday, March 7th about 15 children went to have a swim at the Apam beach but a tidal wave swept through their vicinity and 13 children died with 2 surviving.

The Gomoa Traditional Council indicated that the children disturbed the gods of Apam which led to them drowning as such some rituals were performed before the funeral to appease the gods.
