Man Shoots Himself Dead After Allegedly Fortifying Himself Against Bullets

At Agona Port near Diaso in the Upper Denkyira West District of the Central Region, a man is said to have shot himself to death.

The 30-year-old deceased, who has only been given the name Divine, is accused of shooting himself after preparing himself spiritually for gunshot wounds.

The dead shot himself in the foot and ribs in that order, however, neither shot was successful.

He allegedly shot himself in the head at close range after becoming convinced that the juju had worked, sending the bullet through to the opposite side of his head.

Since then, his remains have been placed for preservation and autopsy at the Dunkwa On-Offin Mortuary.

According to sources, the majority of the young people in the region enjoy using juju to try to avoid gunfire.

However, it has been suggested that the Youth avoid spiritual gunfire protection because it can let them down.

The Diaso Police have started an inquiry into the situation.
