Man, 45, Hangs Himself After Stabbing His Girlfriend To Death
After stabbing his lover to death, Emmanuel Kwakye committed suicide by hanging himself at the Elimina M.A Basic School in the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem District.
According to the evidence acquired, the suspect, Emmanuel Kwakye, stabbed Georgina Sayel to death in his unsecured room at Kakumdo, a community in Cape Coast, leaving her in a pool of blood before fleeing.
After fleeing his home, the suspect hanged himself on the school grounds.
When the police were alerted of the incident, they went to the crime scene.
A severe wound on the lady’s left rib was discovered during the autopsy.
A black kitchen knife with blood streaks was located during a search of the room.
Further evidence suggests that Georgina was Emmanuel’s girlfriend, whom he assisted in completing her tertiary education.
She later ended the relationship since Emmanuel was a cab driver, not someone in her social status.
After being jilted, Emmanuel planned to teach her a harsh lesson by inviting her to his house for a surprise delivery.
Georgina went to the house thrilled, unaware of Emmanuel’s nefarious plan, and was murdered as a result.
Emmanuel is reported to be a married man with a child.
