Mad. Djamson-Tettey Appointed As New Ghana Airports Company MD
Madame Pamela Djamson-Tettey has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) by the Board of Directors.
She takes over the seat vacated by Yaw Kawkwa, the outgoing Managing Director, whose “sacking” sparked outrage a few weeks earlier.
“Following an emergency meeting of the GACL Board held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, Mr. Yaw Kwakwa submitted his resignation as the Managing Director of Ghana Airports Company Limited effective close of day, February 17, 2022,” according to a statement headed “APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR.”
The announcement went into great depth about the new MD’s academic and professional background as he prepares to take over GACL.
