Koose Seller Murdered at Chiraa Estate
For the past months, Ghana’s Murder cases are on the rise, yet the reasons for such upsurge remain unknown. In the back of this, a 60-year-old Koose Seller has been murdered in Chiraa Estate in the Sunyani Municipality.
Reports reaching Vimnewsghana.com reveal that the woman was murdered on Friday, September 9, by an unidentified person. The Police in Chiraa in the Bono Region have retrieved a body of an old woman alleged to have been murdered by an unknown person.
A machete and a beer bottle were found around the corpse and it is believed the woman was murdered with the aforementioned. The reasons for these gruesome murder remains unknown.
Residents of the area noted that this incident makes it the third record Murder case this year
They have therefore called on the Ghana Police Service to intensify their routine patrols at Chiraa since.
Meanwhile, the body of the old lady has since been deposited at the Sunyani Regional Hospital mortuary for autopsy whiles investigations continue.
