Journalist, 2 Others Killed In Robbery Attack
Alhaasan Suale, a radio personality and journalist with Tamale’s Neesim FM, was killed in a robbery attack in Kalariga, a neighborhood of Tamale in the Northern Region.
During a robbery involving a mobile money dealer, the deceased radio host is reported to have been wounded by a stray bullet.
According to a statement released by the Ghana Police Service, the heist resulted in the deaths of one suspected suspect and two victims.
Two other people, including one of the alleged thieves and another victim, were shot and are receiving medical treatment, according to the statement.
The police, on the other hand, stated that they are working around the clock to apprehend the offenders.
Another heist occurred over the last week near the Afa Ajura mosque in Tamale, Northern Ghana.
Residents of Tamale, on the other hand, have expressed concern about the city’s ongoing robberies, car thefts, and other criminal activity, and have urged the mayor, regional minister, and security agencies to act quickly to address the threat.
