I’ve Been Charged With Careless, Inconsiderate Driving- Oliver Barker-Vormawor

Oliver Barker-Vormawor, the convener of the #FixTheCountry movement, has been arrested by the police.

Mr. Barker-Vormavor was apprehended on his way to the Tema High Court, according to a previous report.

The controversial activist revealed that he had been charged with “careless and inconsiderate driving” in a Facebook post.

After being held in the Madina court’s cells, he posted that he was “being transferred to the cells at East Legon Police station now.”

Mr. Barker-Vormawor is currently on trial in court for allegedly threatening a coup if the government implements the contentious E-levy.

On March 16, 2022, the court granted him bail, with bail conditions of GH2 million and two sureties, one of whom had to deposit documents to his landed property in the case where he is accused of plotting a coup in Ghana.
