
Inmate At Ashaiman Police Cells Dies Due To Hunger
An inmate identified as Ebenezer Dosu has died in detention at the Ashaiman District Police cells due to hunger.
The deceased, died last Thursday after complaining of starvation.
According to reports, Ebenezer Dosu was apprehended by police at the Ashaiman Divisional Police Headquarters in the evening for various traffic violations.
He was detained by the police throughout the day and into the evening.
Ebenezer was eventually taken from the Division to the District Headquarters, where he was held captive until midnight.
He was alleged to have complained about being sick, with stomach aches and hunger, but was ignored until the next morning, when he died.
