I Will Not Pay Anyone For Votes- KK Fosu
Ghanaian legendary highlife artiste KK Fosu has said he will not invest his money in delegates to plead for a vote but rather invest it in entertainment and sports facilities in his hometown.
Kaakyiri Kwame Fosu as the artiste’s birth name speaking in an interview made his intention to contest as a Member of Parliament for Akuapem North constituency.
“I am contesting for MP as an independent candidate. I will never give any penny to any delegate. I will rather build an orphanage in Akuapem North or save the GHC1000 for each delegate to fund an astroturf pitch or do small-scale agriculture to loan them. You don’t think I will win the election. But when the time is right I will”.
The musician added, “If I have become someone like KK Fosu with a voice for my people and the entire country, I believe if we are to close the father, as in going to parliament I can do more”.
“Everything we do in this country is done following the law. And laws are made by the Parliamentarians. My voice will be heard if I represent my people. And that’s what I am doing.
