I Used My School Fees For Investment, I’m Yet To Make Profit – KNUST Deferred Student Confesses
One of the 6000 KNUST students who have been deferred due to non-payment of fees claims that he invested his money, but is currently losing money, to pay the costs.
He would not have put the fees into the firm if he had known the university’s administration would move so quickly.
He urged management for additional time to recoup his investment to pay the fees.
“I used the money for a few things, but I knew I would profit from it and return it. But I didn’t expect it so fast. This is my fault, I won’t tell my parents,” he told the media.
On Wednesday, the KNUST administration declared that 6000 students would be postponed owing to non-payment.
