Award-winning artist Micheal Owusu Addo professionally known as Sarkodie has defended the stingy label that has been tied around his neck by Ghanaians in an interview.
The Azonto hitmaker cleared himself when speaking at the South Africa podcast platform, Podcast, and Chill. It is known by many Ghanaians that Sarkodie does not rain money on his as other artists do.
According to the 36-year-old artist, ‘money no be problem’, but it is not in his nature to show off.
He said that he has been of great help to a lot of people behind the scene.
“I am not stingy, I just don’t like giving money on camera”, he said.
To the renowned rapper being generous in the light for people to see you is not his nature.
He added that aside from the music career he lives his best life and being generous makes him fulfilled.
Sarkodie is of the notion that musicians silence their fans with money as a way to misbehave without getting criticized by them.
