
Form 3 SHS student busted for stealing ‘aboboyaa’
Seidu Yussif, a senior at Damongo Senior High School, is currently being held by the Damongo District Police Command for alleged theft.
The guy is accused of stealing an aboboyaa tricycle and riding it out of the jurisdiction before being apprehended at a police checkpoint.
Tuna Police detained Seidu at a police barrier post in the Savannah Region on his way to Wa in the Upper West Region, according to Damongo Police Commander DSP Johnson Hessey.
During police questioning, the senior SHS student claimed to have admitted to stealing the tricycle.
DSP Hessey stated that his department had received numerous requests to pardon and release the defendant, who was awaiting his final evaluation.
The suspect, however, will be brought before the Bole Magistrate Court as a deterrent to others, according to the commander.
