Five Chinese Have Been Arrested in Connection with Ellembelle Excavators
Just a day after Ellembelle DCE and three others were arrested in connection with some excavators, five Chinese have been arrested by the police in Ellembelle.
The arrest comes after a special operation was conducted by the police between Wednesday night and the dawn of Thursday, September 8 in Ellembelle in the Western Region in connection with two missing but found excavators.
The suspects are currently in police custody.
District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ellembelle, Kwasi Bonzo, was arrested on Wednesday for obstructing police officers from carrying out their duties.
The DCE was granted bail hours later.
According to the police, Kwasi Bonzo will be arraigned before the court on Thursday, September 8.
