
Fingers Of Mobile Phone Thief Almost Chopped Off At Kasoa
Prince Adaka, a 32-year-old alleged robber, was nearly lynched after he was detained in Kasoa Ota City in the Central Region for beating a woman with a jack knife and taking her cellphone.
The incident occurred on the morning of Thursday, June 2, 2022, when the victim was driving to work.
In an interview, an eyewitness, Kojo Benjamin, described how the woman instantly began crying for help after being assaulted, attracting the attention of others who raced to her aid.
The suspect was pursued by the enraged residents, who were successful in apprehending him.
To teach him a harsh lesson not to steal again, he was beaten cruelly and had his fingers hacked off.
After that, he was turned over to the Kasoa New Market Police Department for further investigation and prosecution.
