The Right Hon. Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament, has charged the leadership of both houses of parliament, as well as the Parliamentary administration, with ensuring that everyone declares their assets under the constitution.

He made this declaration during the first sitting of the second meeting of the second session of the Eighth Parliament of the fourth republic’s eighth parliament.

The Speaker also mentioned that standing order 109 (3), which prohibits second deputy speakers from voting in the house while presiding, had been struck down by the Supreme Court.

The company would have to rearrange its operations.

He added that the Parliament House alone will not be able to accomplish this, and that help from academia and governance professionals will be required.

The second meeting will examine 69 measures now before the House in various stages.

Below are some of the bills:

Affirmative action Bill 2022

Intestate succession Bill, 2022

The Age Bill, 2022

Rent Bill, 2022 and.

There are some 10 bills at the committee level and May others.
