Driver Remanded Again For Killing 3 Siblings
Justice Adjoyi, the driver who drove carelessly and killed three brothers at Ejisu- Besease has been remanded for the second time.
Justice Adjoyi, 30, has been remanded into police custody by the Ejisu District Magistrate Court. Adjoyi crashed his Honda CR-V with registration number AS 2221- 22 into Hamidu Mohammed, 62, Abdul Rahman,50, and their brother-in-law Masawudu Narco, standing by the roadside.
Police prosecutors say Adjoyi did not exercise caution when he dangerously overtook a vehicle ahead of him. On Tuesday, prosecutors told the court presided over by His Worship Francis Asakeya Ana-am, that a matching case docket has been sent to the Attorney-General’s office for advice.
His Worship Francis said he was remanding the accused for his own protection.
The accused is slapped with a charge of dangerous driving contrary to Section One(1) of the Road Traffic Act, ACT 683.
The relatives of the deceased were not in court the second time.
