
DCOP Kwesi Ofori Retires From Ghana Police Service
Director-General of the Ghana Police Service’s Public Affairs Directorate and Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Kwesi Ofori is set to retire from active service.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Kwesi Ofori’s retirement takes effect on Wednesday, July 20, following his attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 60.
The Police administration is therefore organizing a pull-out and farewell ceremony to honor him.
The program will take place at the National Police Training School, Accra at 10 am prompt.
Before he was appointed the Director General of Police Public Affairs Department, he served in other capacities, including the Head of Police Operations at the Accra Regional Police Command.
The Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, and members of the Police Management Board are expected to grace the occasion.
