Child, Pregnant Woman Crushed To Death At Juaboso
At Sefwi Juaboso in the Western Region, a pregnant mother and her eight-year-old daughter were fatally injured in a collision.
The tragic tragedy took place today, July 19, 2022.
An eyewitness described the tragic incident and said that a KIA with the license plate AS-9238-22 from Sefwi Bodi failed to break at Sefwi Juaboso.
The car drove off the main road and crashed into the pregnant woman and her unborn child riding a stationary Pragya tricycle, which likewise had the license plate M-21-AC 1310.
“They died instantly”, Ahenkorah added.
While the driver of the KIA is in the custody of the Juaboso police and is collaborating with the inquiry, the trike rider was injured but survived with fractured legs.
The pregnant woman’s and her child’s body have been placed in the morgue of the Juaboso Government Hospital for autopsy and preservation.
