Broken Heart Causes SHS Student To Commit Suicide
According to the depressing information received, a senior high school general art student committed suicide.
He allegedly committed suicide after being dumped by his girlfriend.
The tragic occurrence took place in the Ashanti Region’s Offinso North District at Akomadan.
An eyewitness described the incident, saying that Gabriel Abura, 20, told his grandmother Nana Ama Dapaah that he would commit suicide since his lover, on whom he had spent a lot of money, had dumped him.
The information has also been corroborated by the Offinso North District Police Command.
In their statement, the police stated that the incident took place early on June 28, 2022, on Wednesday.
When the police patrol team arrived on the scene, they saw a dead person being strung up in a tree close to the Akumadan Methodist Basic School building.
Since then, the remains had been transported to the government hospital in Nkenkansu for an autopsy, preservation, and additional research.
